Privacy Policy for Peak Focus

Graham Tizzard ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Peak Focus mobile application (the "Service"). This page explains what data the app handles.

1. Data stored on your device

Your tasks, labels, focus history, settings, and any photos you attach to a task are stored only on your device, using the app's local storage. We do not have a server, we do not have an account system, and this data is never sent to us or anyone else. If you uninstall the app, it is gone.

• Notifications: if you set a reminder on a task, the app schedules repeating local notifications on your device until you finish, pause or delete the task. The app can also send one local "check-in" notification a day while you have an open task; you can turn this off in Settings. Nothing about your tasks or reminders leaves the device.
• Photos: attaching a photo to a task copies that image into the app's local storage on your device. The app only accesses images you explicitly pick.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Peak Focus is free and shows a banner ad, served by Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob and Google may collect and process:

• a device advertising identifier,
• approximate (coarse) location, derived from your IP address,
• app activity and diagnostics (ad interactions, crashes, performance).

This information is used by Google to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings, and in the UK and EU the app asks for your consent before any personalised processing. Removing ads: you can make a one-time in-app purchase to remove all ads. After that, the AdMob banner is not loaded at all.

3. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The one-time "remove ads" purchase is processed by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. Google Play (and our purchase-management provider, RevenueCat) records that the purchase was made, so it can be restored on your other devices signed in with the same Google account. This record contains a purchase token and your Play/RevenueCat user identifiers — not your name, email, or payment information.

4. Google Play Services

The app uses Google Play Services for delivery, integrity checks, and the functions above. Its data handling is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Children

Peak Focus is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children under 13.

6. Security

No method of electronic storage is completely secure. We take reasonable care with the app's local storage but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes

We may update this policy and will post any changes on this page with a new date.
